Gary Pelow

Owner & Hunter Douglas Master Installer

Gary is a native of Flint, Michigan who then enlisted in the United States Army. After the Army, Gary became an engineer and moved to Las Vegas where he was introduced to Hunter Douglas. He started a business in Las Vegas and decided to move to Arizona. After he moved to Carefree, Arizona he decided that his heart was in Window Fashions and opened Carefree Coverings and Pro Blind Repair. Gary has been in the Window Fashion business for over 20 years. Through Hunter Douglas, Gary is a Master Installer and Hunter Douglas Gallery Dealer. He goes above and beyond to ensure that all needs are met. Gary loves what he does and it shows when he is assisting in meeting a customers needs.




 Michael Austin

 Hunter Douglas Certified Installer

 Michael has been with Pro Blind Repair for over 2 years and is great at what he does. Michael is an honest and efficient worker who always goes the extra mile to make sure all customers are satisfied with their Window Fashions. Michael is a native of Indiana, but now calls Arizona his home. Michael is a Hunter Douglas Certified Installer who is constantly working and learning about new products and techniques to ensure your repairs, installs, and cleanings are up to the standards set by Hunter Douglas and you.

Richard Kozma

 Hunter Douglas Certified Installer

  Richard, 1 of 11 siblings, moved to Arizona from Long Island, NY back in 1973. A BS degree from NAU and a Masters from Thunderbird School of Global Management opened many opportunities where he earned recognition from his peers and successes in the business community. He owned and operated two successful window coverings businesses (Arctic Blinds & Shades and Winter Sun Blinds, Shades & Shutters) both with a highly focused customer service orientation which helped to set them apart from the competition. Richard enjoys the process of assisting clients as they address their window covering concerns. He understands the importance of uncovering and educating the customer on the various issues to be addressed in order for the best window covering to be selected.  Whether it is a new home or a remodel his focus is on the customer, always placing their needs in front of his own. He conducts himself in the business environment has he does in his personal life, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. It is the living and working this simple model that provides the foundation for trust which is welcomed and enjoyed by all who work with him.

 Christopher James”CJ” Kozma is the newest member of our Pro Blind Repair and Installation team. He was born in North Carolina, shortly thereafter moved to Arizona and considers himself a native of Arizona. He attended Northern Arizona University and his prior experience has been in the Customer Service industry. CJ is a Hunter Douglas Certified Installer and works to attend all Hunter Douglas latest classes to keep informed and knowledgeable on repairing and installing Hunter Douglas latest products.  Customer satisfaction is his top priority which makes him a perfect fit for the professional Pro Blind team.

Connie Kozma

Office Coordinator

Connie and her husband Richard  joined the team at Pro Blind Repair and Installation in March of 2014. She is the Office Coordinator for Pro Blind working in the shop office from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The remaining days of the week, Connie can address phone calls from home. Connie’s prior work experience includes Dental Office management, Arctic Blinds, Shades and Shutters in Surprise, Arizona office management, City Secretary for the city of Weston Lakes, Texas and Architectural Liaison for a HOA in Texas. Whether calling Pro Blind for a blind repair, cleaning or scheduling for new product installation, you can expect an efficient and organized experience.
